How to optimize your Upwork profile and get your first job?

Introduction:

Upwork is a freelancing platform where you can make money from home. Upwork profile optimization is an important role in getting jobs. If your profile is completed and optimized, then you can get job on upwork. There are many steps to complete and optimize the profile. Here we discuss the whole process to complete the profile and optimization.

  1. Open the website www.upwork.com and click on signup.
  2. Signup with your email, set your password and username.
  3. There will be 2 options.
  4. Complete your profile with LinkedIn
  5. Complete it manually and we will choose this one.
  6. Profile Title: Write down a title which is according to your skills and experience. For example, if you have skills related to designing, then you should write this one “Creative Graphics Designer”.
  7. Experience: Add your experience related to the skills. If you have designer, then add experience as Graphics designer in your upwork profile.
  8. Education: Add your education. You can add 2 or 3 degrees.
  9. Language: Add English as your language but select “Fluent”. You can add Urdu as “Native”
  10. Skills: Add up to 15 skills relevant to your niche.
  11. Rate: Set your profile rate 10 to 20$.
  12. Bio, description: Add your description about your skills related to your title and niche in which you are providing services to the clients. At least 10 categories
  13. At least 10 categories set your hourly rate for your hourly jobs
  14. Picture, Address, Cell Number
  15. Certificate
  16. Other experience
  17. Portfolio
  18. Review and submit
